YES! That is, indeed, our "ORIGINAL" (haha - see what we did there) website address. And, that website is still active. However, time marches on; it was time to refresh our look, our logo, and, our site content. But, if you prefer the old site, by all means, please visit it! If you prefer this one... READ ON!

Our team, collectively, has many decades of experience in providing exceptional home painting services, all over Canada. We areprofessional house painters, and, ALWAYS want to make certain you, as our customers, are happy.

REFERENCES:we have MANY references available on request; we have provided painting services to HUNDREDS of properties. Many of them have given us permission to use them as references and would be pleased to speak with you... but remember... we may ask you to be a reference for us too!

WE WILL SHOW UPfor all estimate appointments on time. And, if we are going to be late for any reason, we will advise you in advance of the appointment. We will arrive to start your painting job on the day we say we will arrive. We believe it is important to keep our word - our reputation is important to us.

WARRANTY:we offer a ONE YEAR warranty on our labour. Please see our terms of sales, service, and warranty.

BOOKING DEPOSITS NOT NORMALLY REQUIRED: we don't want to start our relationship with you, our customer, on on the premise that we don't trust that you will pay us... think about that. If we are privileged to win your business, and you book your painting with us, we will not charge you anything to reserve your job two weeks or more, even months in advance of the scheduled work start date. We are just glad you chose to work with us... having said that, we will normally take a deposit if the service is within two weeks of your scheduled work start date, or, immediately upon booking with seasonal lighting installations (we have to order lights right away, and, we often sell out of installation appointments for this service). 

RESPECTFUL: we know that your home is probably your most important asset. We promise we will treat it as such - with the respect it deserves.. We also know that painting your home can be a major expense for most people, and, in some cases, is something you have "saved up" to get done. We are consumers just like you, and will ALWAYS treat you with the same respect with which we would want to treated as customers. And, don't worry - we will treat YOUR grandmother, like she was our own Grandmother.

FAST AND CLEAN: we will always give you our best and most accurate estimate as to how long your job will take. We will do everything we can to meet those time estimates. We will make every effort to keep your house clean, and to protect your home and belongings while painting. We will ALWAYS clean up after ourselves, and, leave your home in a serviceable condition when we leave.

NO "OVER-BOOKING: we do not "over-book" jobs by juggling resources to try and book as many jobs as possible. If we are too busy to take on your job when you want it done, WE WILL TELL YOU. In our opinion contractors who engage in this practice short-change all their customers.

LOW PRICES: we believe in offering you the best deal we can. We will NOT overcharge, or charge a premium if we think you need something done urgently. We quote every job the same way - fairly. We will quote you a fair price, and, we will make a fair profit. In most cases, our quotes / estimates come in well under the prices charged by our worthy competitors. However, please don't ask us to "reduce" our estimates... we assure you... you will be quoted the most competitive price possible, right up front.

LOWEST PRICE ON PAINT; unlike other painting companies, we DO NOT

simply walk-in to one of the big foreign mass-market paint brands generally available in our market. we DO NOT just "slap on your walls" whatever brand is the "cheapest" for us to buy, or whichever line their marketing department is pushing that week at these big foreign paint outlets. Nor do we pay any attention to the giant marketing machines of these big foreign (American) players; trying to influence purchases into the "most expensive" and usually, highest profit lines. Expensive does not always equate to quality; very often expensive, is just expensive, for no good reason other than brand recognition.

Instead, we spent several years researching and testing paints - the big foreign brands, certainly, and the handful of very high quality boutique / "artisan" Canadian paint manufacturers. We were looking for a few things:

a) Is this the highest quality paint line (overall) we can find?

b) Is this paint line eco-friendly for our environment, and, health-friendly for our customers?

c) Is this paint line offered at a competitive price-point, where we can offer true value to our customers?

d) Is this product Canadian made, and/or locally sourced, to support our economy and jobs here at home, for the inherent CANADIAN QUALITY advantage, and, for the welfare of our planet.

e) Is this paint product easy to apply, and, painter-friendly?

We tried more than a dozen brands; various lines, sheens, qualities, etc... we kept coming back to one paint line. In fact, we were DRIVEN BACK to one paint line by OUR OWN PAINTERS, and, OUR OWN CUSTOMERS. Our painters simply loved working with, and the finish of GREEN FRIENDLY PAINT by DuROCK. No matter which other line we tried, they kept asking us to come back to GFP. Our customers LOVED the superior look and finish of the paint over the big foreign brands, AND, LOVED the health and ecology benefits, AND, not least, LOVED the price point. We could offer them a PREMIUM PAINT BRAND, made from the HIGHEST QUALITY, and where possible, locally sourced, raw materials.

Soon, we were buying - and selling - so much of this product that we approached DuROCK and asked them to become their regional distributor for the GFP line. They granted our request, and, our sister-company, ECO PAINT AND COATINGS SUPPLY was born! ECO Paint and Coatings Supply specializes in the GFP paint line, and, sources other "best in class" premium coatings, and sundries. Again, wherever possible, selling HIGH QUALITY, ECO and HEALTH FRIENDLY, COMPETITIVELY PRICED, and CANADIAN MADE products. If we can't do that, we check as many of those boxes as we can when purchasing. ECO PAINT AND COATINGS SUPPLY specializes in serving the wholesale-to-trade market; pro painters, renovators, contractors, and, property managers, and, large users. However, we are always pleased to serve RETAIL customers, and DIY'ers, offering them WHOLESALE RATES on our paint lines. Of course, Hamilton House Painters is offered a DEEP DISCOUNT over list prices, given the relationship. And, here is the best news of all! Hamilton House Painters passes those DEEP DISCOUNTS on to you, our customers. that;s right, you buy from us at the same price that ECO PAINT sells to HHP; no additional mark-up. And, where we buy form other suppliers, you buy AT OUR COST - we do not mark up these outsourced materials.

You pay what we pay. We make our profit on the labour component of the quote. Why do we do it this way? A few reasons...

First, you may have a favourite paint or brand; you should be able to use that brand if you like. Second, this is the most fair way to do it in our view. If you want to be able to purchase your own paint, and save a few dollars on your job, we think that's a great idea. So, we took that idea a step further. We will purchase the paint for you, and sell it to you at OUR COST. We never charge for picking up the paint products. And, if you do decide to use the brand with which we customarily work (GREEN FRIENDLY PAINT), you will receive our TRADE DISCOUNT on the paints. That's right - you will get our contractor discount rates - you will NOT PAY RETAIL PRICES. Please see more about GREEN FRIENDLY PAINT on our PAINT information page. In most cases, with our trade pricing, you will pay ABOUT HALF, or even less, than you will pay for comparable major-name foreign brands; and you artisanal quality PREMIUM PAINT at this price.

PAINT COLOUR SELECTION: if you intend to use our preferred paint supplier, GREEN FRIENDLY PAINT, we can offer you a paint chip "swatch book" to assist you in selecting your colours from the comfort of your own home; no need to visit the paint store! Just ASK US for the "GFP" paint chip swatch book from GREEN FRIENDLY PAINT. If you would like to use a paint chip / colour from another major manufacturer, just give us the colour code(s) from the chip - we will have it matched. We can do this with paint chips from Dulux, Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, Behr, and select other major foreign-owned paint lines. If you select a colour from another manufacturer or brand, just provide us with the chip; we will have it colour-matched for you.
